Day 2 on the Garage Sale Trail

One word - HOT - TEMPERATURE and SALES!!! Today it took us 5 hours to go 10 miles - maybe. So many sales along the 127. We stopped and stopped and bought a few things each but did not find nice things until we learned of a multi dealer sale, under a roof (no sun) in Liberty, KY. Nice quanity and quality of antiques. Prices were more in line than we had previously seen and Vic and I both bought some things.Ate BBQ beef at a large corner sale and we could have bought great farm fresh produce to take home but we will wait until we are on our way. Everyone was ranting about the corn on the cob down here so I will make sure to get some of that.A deer ran in front of the van today - that really startled us and on the way back to the hotel all of a sudden around a bend was an Amish family stopped half on the road and half on the shoulder. Lets have no more surprises tomorrow. Traffic is crazy down here because no one really knows where they are going!! Us included. HA HAWe saw some very interesting Civil War items, Natzi items, rocks/geodes, arrowheads, a macedon skull, lot of stoneware we did not see in the spring, glass, primitives, farm tools and more tools. Fun time

TREASURES FOR THE DAY: McCoy, bookends, McCoy yelloware bowl, and flying fish planter. Talk to you tomorrow.
